From Snack Time to Senior Year: Celebrating Our Daycare Grads

It feels like just yesterday they were playing in our classrooms and asking for just one more turn on the slide. And now — somehow — they’re walking across the stage in caps and gowns. This year, we’re celebrating a special group of graduating seniors who once called Paradise Panther Cub Care their second home.

Watching these incredible young people grow from curious, wide-eyed kids into confident, capable graduates has been one of the greatest joys of our work. We remember their giggles, their tiny triumphs, their scraped knees and proud moments — and now, we get to see them take on the world with those same bright spirits.

Some of them stayed with us for just a little while, and others were part of our family for years. But no matter how long they were with us, each of them left a mark — and we couldn’t be prouder of who they’ve become.

Senior Spotlight: Landrie Waggoner

We caught up with one of our former Cub Care kids, Landrie Waggoner, as she wraps up her senior year and gets ready for what’s next.

What are your plans after graduation? I plan on attending Angelo State University and becoming a physical therapist.

What are you most proud of from your high school years? I am most proud of my acting awards in theater. (Landrie earned Honorable Mention All Star Cast at the One Act Play Area Meet — go Landrie!)

Do you have a favorite memory from your time at Paradise Panther Cub Care? Tumbling with Mrs. Annette!

Anything else you’d like to share? Thanks for giving me such a great start!

Landrie, we are so proud of you and all that you’ve accomplished — and we can’t wait to see you shine at Angelo State and beyond!

To all of our daycare grads: We are so proud of you. We’ve cheered you on from your first steps to your final exams, and we’ll keep cheering as you head into this next chapter. Whether you're college-bound, joining the workforce, or still figuring it all out — know that you’ve got a whole team of fans rooting for you.

Don’t forget where you came from (yes, even the days of diapers and launching spaghetti across the lunch table). Once a part of our family, always a part of our family.

Congratulations, Class of 2025!
